Nocrich

My Transylvania

Slow Food Trail workshops are an excellent option for families with children aged 6 to 12 years old.

Schedule
10:45 - 11:00 Meeting at the Scout Center (located in the former evangelical parish house in the center of the village, just left of the church). Cars can be parked in the central square along the park.

11:15 A quick warm-up with some hot tea, then the children will start the pottery workshop in an open barn. The workshops were designed for children aged 6 to 12 and are led by a craftsman and a volunteer scout.

11:15 While the children are busy with the workshop, the adults will go on 2 hours hike around the village. Level of difficulty: easy. Basic winter equipment is needed (boots, backpack with thermos, waterproof jacket). Each adult will receive a picnic package.

12:30 Outdoor picnic with seasonal dishes - some of them will be cooked on site at a campfire. Children will receive hot lunch at the Scout center.
13:00 - 13:30 Return to the village where the children finish the workshops. We finifh up with a locale dessert and sweet drink before leaving.

The Slow Food Trail is an non-formal education project developed for children aged between 6 and 12, in order to promote local values.
Our stories will help the little ones to discover local tastes and crafts, to love the nature and to seek to protect the local heritage.
